eCareer Center is The College of Saint Rose’s web-based career center management system. It is available to students and alumni 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learn more about eCareerCenter’s features below!
The Career Center’s Recruiting Program includes Information Tables, Information Sessions, Resume Collections and On-Campus Interviews. These recruiting activities provide an opportunity for employers to meet with and/or interview undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. You can find out more about which employers are visiting campus on the Career Center website, fliers, the Chronicle, Facebook (The College of Saint Rose Career Center), Blackboard, bulletin boards, as well as campus television.
The Career Center posts 3,000+ job, internship, and volunteer opportunities on eCareerCenter each year. These include part-time, full-time, local and national listings. You can search for positions that meet your criteria and you can upload your documents (i.e. resume, cover letter, writing samples) to be submitted when you apply for a position via eCareerCenter. You also have access to NACElink Extended Job Search which includes Fortune 500 companies and other high profile employers. The NACElink Extended Job Search can help you find postings from employer web sites as well as other reputable job search boards like Google, Indeed, and Simply Hired.
The Career Center offers programs presented by our very own staff as well as employers. Workshops can help you improve your resume, discuss interviewing tips and skills, using social media, choosing what to wear to an interview, and more! Be sure to login and keep an eye on eCareerCenter Events & Recruiting tab to view and RSVP for upcoming workshops.
Under the Employers tab you’ll find a listing of over 4,000 employers who are registered with us on eCareerCenter. You’ll be able to view the employer’s profile as well as a link to the employer's website. If you click on the employer profile link, you’ll find an overview, company contacts, and any available job listings. By visiting the employer’s website you can get a feel for the company’s culture and mission and view any photos or videos they may have posted as well as key statistics/information, a corporate overview, and more. Remember, being prepared for an interview requires research.
